Junior Shooting Sports Program

We are the Jr. Shooting Sports Program of the 1800 Adventure Club. Our goal is to introduce youths to the safe and responsible use of firearms and the shooting sports. Participation is open to all youths who are family & friends of 1800 Club members or members of any youth groups such as 4-H, Scouting or Explorers.

Shooting sessions are held on the fourth Saturday of the month from 11:30am-2:30pm, (weather permitting) at our club's pistol range in Saugus, CA. Each session begins with a safety orientation followed by a match or clinic. Cost is $5 per shooter. All money collected is used to fund the program. Each participant must provide a waiver & consent form signed by a parent.

We provide all equipment and instruction necessary for a safe and fun experience. We have an assortment of youth sized .22 caliber bolt action rifles. We also supply shooting mats, eye & ear protection, targets and ammo. Our match directors are NRA Certified Instructors and Range Safety Officers.

Check in & registration starts at 11:30, mandatory safety briefing at 11:45, and shooting starts at 12 noon. Sorry, but late arrivals can not shoot.

Bring your youngsters to one of our Saturday shooting sessions and spread the message of safe and responsible firearms handling to the youth of our area.

If you would like to participate please RSVP to Louie or Steve and let them know how many will be attending.

For more information, please contact:

Louie (Match Director) 661-212-9126 "LMGD5150 at" or
