Welcome Members and guests to the new home of the Americana 1800 Adventure Club!
The new site is substantially different than our previous attempts, and now features a completely new database-driven content management system.
The most significant change is we're moving to individual user accounts. Each user will need to create their own user account for the site by going to the Account Registration page. The registration process is simple, and takes only a few minutes.
How to Begin: Sign Up
Start here at the Account Registration page [click here]. At the end of the registration process, the system will automatically email you a confirmation link (the email is sent immediately, but may not arrive for a short time). You must use that link to complete the registration process within 5 days before you can be added to user groups and utilize the board as a registered user.
Make sure you read all instructions and responses carefully. Your online registration should complete with a message that your registration was successful and that a confirmation email is being sent. The confirmation email should arrive nearly instantly (but may take longer due to many variables). Check your spam filters if the email is missing. Keep in mind that if you do not verify your registration with the 5 days, your registration is cancelled automatically, and you must start the process over again.
If you are a 1800 Club member please make sure you fill out the registration information accurately (e.g. your name and email address that you are listed with the club Secretary) so that you can be allocated to the proper user groups.
Unfortunately, group access has to be handled by an Administrator after your account is confirmed with the registration link you are sent in email. Please be patient while we work on getting people assigned to their proper groups in-between our day jobs. Once you have been added to the Member group, the system will email you a notification. Only once you are manually added to the Member group will you be able to view the 1800 member-only content (e.g. work hours and meeting attendance).
If you are not a club member, please feel welcome to register for the site, as it gives you additional access to the site features that aren't available to unregistered users (such as the Public Match forums).
